MY APPROACH

Regardless of what brings you to therapy, my primary goal as a clinician is to create

a space that facilitates free expression, highlights your natural abilities, and

strengthens self-awareness and self-compassion.

I work from a strengths/empowerment perspective and incorporate cognitive-behavioral, systems, and narrative frameworks into my therapeutic approach. In other words, I will work alongside you to explore and expand upon beliefs and stories that no longer feel supportive, so that you can connect more deeply with your inherent strengths and capabilities. I strongly believe that our intuitive nature is to move towards growth and positive change, but we often need support along the way. Together, we will add meaningful context to feelings and behaviors, identify perspectives and options, and bring a deeper layer of understanding to your experiences and self-knowledge.

I believe open and honest communication is the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship, and encourage feedback throughout the process. Most importantly, I am committed to ensuring that you feel safe, well-supported, and valued during our work together.
